INSTALLATION OF THE MASTELLONE WITH THE PIPOLINO-BOX

1°/ Put the 8 panels together with the nuts and bolts provided.
2°/ Fill the panels with sand.
3°/ Put the 8 lids on the panels.                                                                                                  
4°/ Insert the MASTELLONE in the middle of the Pipolino-Box.

INSTALLATION OF THE MASTELLONE  WITHOUT THE  PIPOLINO-BOX

1°/ Using a drill with an 8 mm drill bit, drill 6 holes trough the base of the MASTELLONE 2 cm from the edge.

 
2°/ Depending on the nature of the ground, use the 6 pickets or the 6 screws with the washers (included). For trailers it may preferable to use rivets and to increase the number of holes.

ADJUSTMENT OF THE PIPOLINO-XXL

- The aim of adjusting the PIPOLINO-MAXI is to make the horse eat his concentrates slowly, to occupy him during all the time when he is likely to become bored.

- The PIPOLINO-MAXI allows 4 settings : 8 holes, 4 holes, 2 holes and 1 hole.

The 8 hole setting is principally for teaching the horse how to use the PIPOLINO-MAXI and the final position (4, 2 or 1 holes) is determined by the length of time available to eat the concentrates.

- 4 sizes of opening: obtained on the PIPOLINO-MAXI by the following settings :

                                                                                                        
The size of hole is chosen depending on the food so that it can only come out of the PIPOLINO-MAXI in small amounts at a time (for example 7.5mm for rolled cereals).

INITIATION

1°/ Select the hole size corresponding to the size of the feed, adjust the distribution to 8 holes, and fill the PIPOLINO-MAXI with the usual ration.
2°/ Put the PIPOLINO-MAXI in the middle of the PIPOLINO-BOX on top of a small amount of concentrates.
3°/ For the following meals, slowly decrease the number of holes so that at the end of the time allocated. Adapt the distribution rate to the daily ration, the capacity of the PIPOLINO-Maxi and the times of activity and rest.
